Golf Course News International, more often referred to as GCNI, is a bi-monthly golf trade publication based in Birmingham, UK.
In 2001, United Publications (Yarmouth, Maine) sold the title to Amenity Technologies (London).[1]
In September 2006, the Scotland on Sunday newspaper ran an article criticising the content of GCNI,[2] focusing on the relaunched version of the magazine under the ownership of golf equipment manufacturer Seoul Nassau. The serious context of the article was the focus of an article in the following day's Independent newspaper, who ran an article entitled 'Sexed-up golf mag proves too hot for the plus-four set'.[3]
As of 2007 the status of the magazine is unknown.
